A word from Jean, the 'Werewolf and Frankenstein' costume creator:
My 5 yr. old Papillon "Cricket" is a werewolf who is helping Frankenstein deliver a crate of spare body parts and Hazardous materials to Dr. Jekyll. I used light weight Styrofoam to make the crate with tan foam sheets hot glued for the planks, which were dirtied up with black acrylic paint to make them look old.It is held in place to her harness with Velcro at strategic spots. Pants for front and back characters are held in place with snaps, and a shirt cut up and fitted, with a vest attached, which slips on over her head. The werewolf's arms are attached to the crate and release at her shoulders where Velcro holds them in place. Frankenstein's torso is attached to the crate and sits atop her but, with Velcro to attach it to the pants. There is a Styrofoam sheet inside the crate about 2" down, so the body parts are laid inside the crate and kept them in place above the dogs body. The lid is being forced open by a skeleton trying to escape. Rats and spider are added for an creepy effect. The Werewolf and Frankenstein characters come alive as she walks along.
