This homemade costume for boys entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Robert, the 'Wheelchair X-wing' costume creator:
My son Oliver can not walk, so I wanted to create a halloween mod for his wheelchair. Since we are all Star Wars fans, I decided on an X-wing fighter. His outfit is a comercially available Xwing pilot costume. I made the fighter from cardboard, tape, hot-glue and spray paint. The plans were based on a paper-craft X-wing that I found online. I printed it out, then scaled it up to fit his wheelchair.
