Clown and Elephant Costume

I usually do wheelchair costumes for my daughter with cerebral palsy. This year we chose a circus theme so she dressed up as a clown and I transformed her wheelchair into an elephant we named Ellie. Ellie was made completely from 1/4 in thick foam and I laid crinkled tissue paper on top that was glued w spray glue. The trunk was multiple foam rings connected by a single foam strip and covered in tissue paper. The eyes were small Christmas ornaments w a wax liquid that dries solid and a google image of an eye placed inside the wax. It took roughly 3 weeks to completely finish but It was sooo worth It she’s the talk of the town every Halloween and this year has been amazing already.
