Rainbow Dash Costume

My daughter Melody wanted to be Rainbow Dash this year so I figured out a way to incorporate her wheel chair into the costume. I made wings out of felt and attached them to the handle support bars of the chair. I used rainbow colored yarn for the tail which is attached to the back of the chair. I made clouds out of white poster board and set two big ones on either side of the chair behind the wheels. By the time I was finished, Melody loved her wheel chair and said she felt like she could fly. It felt so good to see her happy and know I could make her dream come true.
