Winnifred Sanderson Costume

Winnifred Sanderson (Hocus Pocus). Hocus Pocus is one of my all time favourite movies, i basically know every line by heart- so why not be Winnie!! Everything was handmade. The book i used a cookbook, paper towel, mod podge and model magic clay for the embellishments, ping pong ball for the eye. The book also has a functioning clasp using hinges. The dress i bought from value village and added purple material, leather loop holes and golden cord for the corset. The cape is handmade with no pattern, and i painted the gold symbols. Shoes i bought an old pair from value village and used tin foil and duck tape to make the witchy peak. Teeth, i glued fake nails with denture glue (let the glue sit a couple mins before putting it on, it also works better if partially attached to the gum). Lace armlets. Fake nails and green/black tights. I used sponge in my hair for the volume at the front? Pinned and spray painted it.
