A word from Lori, the 'Winnie the Pooh Characters' costume creator:
I handmade these costumes for our cats to wear.
All of our cats are rescue cats.
Cali.........Winnie the Pooh
Trixie.......Piglet
PooBear......Tigger
Precious.....Eeyore
WINNIE THE POOH......I just used tan fleece sized it to the cat, sewed it as 1 pc for the body & added Velcro in front & tummy to keep closed. I used a thin foam material to cut, attached material to it 1st before I hot glued to create the head. then I used black felt to cut out for facial features & glue them to the head.
I used red material for shirt & cut yellow letters for name & sewed it on the back of shirt.
PIGLET........I used a light foam to create body & sewed Dark pink material on top & then stitched the black lines on the back & sewed Velcro near front & belly. I Attached a soft velour light pink for the legs.
I used a thin foam material to cut, attached same light pink material I used on legs to it 1st before I hot glued to create the head. then I used black felt & pink to cut out for facial features & glue them to the head.
TIGGER.......I used a light foam to create the body & sewed a light orange flannel material, then cut & stitched the black stripes on body. Used same material for legs. I used a thin foam material to cut, attached material to it 1st before I hot glued to create the head. then I used black felt to cut out for facial features & glue them to the head. For this head I had her face come out the mouth & added orange & black striped material on back so you can't see the head.
For the tail I used same material sewed it stuffed it stuck a wire in the middle so you can curl the tail.
EEYORE........I used a light foam for the body attached a greyish blue material on the top & light blue on bottom side, same for the legs. Attached Velcro to chest & tummy to keep outfit on. I made a tail sewed a button on top of it & found a black trim that was cut like you see.
I used a thin foam material to cut, attached material to it 1st before I hot glued to create the head. then I used black felt to cut out for facial features & glue them to the head & above that I glued a mini pink bow.
I glued moveable eyed on face, and for the mane it was the same type of trim I used on tail but I tripled it so it would be much fuller.
