This homemade costume for families entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Christine, the 'Wizard of Oz' costume creator:
Our family (including our pets) dressed as characters from Wizard of Oz. Harley (the gray dog) dressed up as the tin man and Doodlebug (the black dog) was Toto. I was the scarecrow, Mina was the Wicked Witch and Jessenya was Dorothy. We had lots of fun!!
The whole idea came when I found a dog tin man costume at Goodwill. Then we went to various resale shops to come up with the elements of the rest of the costumes. I made Dorothy's costume by reformatting a scrub top.
