Wonderland Group Costume

So this group costume is my two best friends and their boyfriends and my husband and myself as characters from Alice's adventures in wonderland.
I'm the White Rabbit, my husband Conrad is the Mad Hatter, my bestie Danielle is the Queen of Hearts, and her bf Scott is the Knave of Hearts, my other bff Jenn is the Caterpillar and her bf Tim is the Walrus (and the carpenter is in his pocket, lol)
I patterned my costume off of a late Victorian riding habit and sewed all of my clothes. Conrad made his hat from craft foam and sewed his own gloves and cravat. Danielle sewed her gown as well as Scott's shirt and tabard. Jenn put her costume together using pieces she had already along with a new bustle tail Danielle and I made for her, though she made her amazing hookah! Tim created his look pretty simply by adding some tusks to a mustache and put the rest of his costume together this go with our overall dapper look.
The three ladies actually had two looks. One for day or "casual" and then a ball gown for a masquerade ball in the evening.
It was so much fun to get people to follow the white rabbit to Wonderland 😉
