Woodland Owl Costume

I'm the person wearing the costume. The idea came from other Owl costumes on Pinterest. The body of the costume is fake fur, a grey feather boa, and a tank top. No sewing was required just a few bobby pins holding it together. I used a pair of old white gloves and covered the top of them with fake fur and cut down a fallen branch to act as my perch. For the collar, I just pinned on a strand of black and orange feathers to the top of the fake fur cape. The head is a full face plastic mask layered with cardboard and fake fur (left over from the body) and black feathers. For the eyes, I used sunglass lenses with orange and yellow flower petals and it was all held together with hot glue!
