Pennywise Costume

My 21 month old as Pennywise. I was inspired by her unruly hair. Was unable to find a costume in her size so I took a needle and thread and went to work. Hand sewed everything onto an old pair of leggings and long sleeve shirt she had. It was a fun process figuring out how to make the individual pieces and attach them. Also made shoe covers out of an old pair of socks. I used acrylic paint to create the design on the cover. I distressed the costume with acrylic paint, makeup and yes beet juice (was roasting beets and thought why not). Tried my best with her makeup because right now she is in a mustache phase and wanted to paint herself a mustache. Next year I’ll be buying myself a sewing machine.
