This homemade costume for girls entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Courtney, the 'Young MacDonald and her Chicken' costume creator:
Lucille is 5 and her only Halloween wish was to be Old (or rather Young) MacDonald and her little best friend Thea a chicken. I sewed the overalls using a pants pattern and sewing on an appropriate sized chest piece as well as straps. The chicken was made by sewing a feather boa onto a white dog shirt and the headpiece is made of felt, no pattern just a makeshift headpiece that I felt looked chicken-y.
