This homemade costume for women entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Shay, the 'Ziggy Stardust' costume creator:
I have long had a love for David Bowie, especially the movie Labyrinth. I challenged myself to create my version of me as Ziggy Stardust!
The fabric/materials were originally curtains from Goodwill, I love repurposing and upcycling! Aside from having to purchase a zipper, the actual materials cost about $15. Wig and makeup bring the look home! I have never made patterns, I just measure and cut. I try on pieces throughout construction and tweak as necessary!
