Zipper Face Costume

I found the idea online and thought I would try it out on my husband.
I used a zipper, glued down with spirit gum. I used toilet paper(seriously) to build the skin around his cheeks and jaw. Once it dried, I lifted the now stiff but playable toilet paper away from his face, creating the un-zipped slack.
The skin makeup is natural foundation, just to cover the toilet paper and zipper seams. The un-zipper part is fake blood. The kind you heat up and it dries with a wet look and is a little sticky.
