Zombie Ariel and Prince Eric Costume

Last year I had created the top of my costume(siren) and felt it didn't get enough attention.
Top was an old bra, took some sea shells painted them teal and painted glitter on them. Drilled holes to sew the shells onto the bra. Tied some netting from floral accessories to cover the strap and give a more tattered feel.

This year I bought a green tutu and tight knit green skirt from a thrift store and sewed them together to create a tail shape. I created a scale stencil and used fabric spray paint to add more details to the "tail".

Prince Eric- Wore black pants he had. Tore up an old collared shirt. Wore my black boots, and rolled them down to give the right cuffed look. We took an old red sweatshirt and cut the bottom part of the torso to create the red band.

We both used white body paint and fake wounds to transform into zombies
