Zombie Mermaid Bride Costume

I am wearing this costume. I wanted to depict a mermaid turned zombie who is getting married holding her skeleton mermaid baby purchased at a store. I purchased a mermaid costume from a department store to wear underneath (its cold in Maine!). Otherwise, everything else is hand made and painted by me. My inspiration is from an assortment of Pinterest pins. I used LOTS of scab blood on the left side of my face and around the barnacles which were made out of lightweight clay. This scab blood is STICKY and got on my wig. Looked good though. My crown was HEAVY because I used real shells (and lots of them) attached to a piece of round Styrofoam with a glue gun and then secured a headpiece/veil . I would use either less shells or make lightweight shells next time. I have a white contact in my right eye and a screen prosthetic covering my "ripped out" eye area. I have eyelash extenstions which rubbed against the screen all night. Thanks!!
