Zombie Jail Bird Costume

This is my Grandson Christian as Zombie Jail Bird. I made his costume with cotton strip fabric. Once the costume was made we ripped it up and used paint to put blood all over it. Then we used brown eyeshadow to make it dirty. The knee is done with latex, tissue paper, and blood. For his makeup we did some spots with layers of latex, tissue paper once dried we pulled it off in some spots to make it look like his skin was falling off and he had bites. Other spots we used latex and oatmeal to give him a rotting look. Then I took gray makeup and did his face, chest and arms. Then we used black and purple eyeshadows to give him the sunken eyes and dirty look. At the end fake blood. Dark blood in the wounds to make them look deep then brighter blood on the out side. We had a great time doing this costume and he was so thrilled with it.
