Baby Ariel Costume

This is our daughter at 4 months old! I’ve always been obsessed with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” (maybe it’s because I have red hair) but I always said, “if I have a daughter, she WILL be Ariel.” Not only was she Ariel, she really does have red hair too! Haha! For this costume, I made the bra and tail completely out of sparkly craft foam. I purchased it from Michaels craft store. I cut each piece out by hand and glued them onto a piece of fabric. I wasn’t too concerned about moving her as she was so small anyways. More so for photos. I bought a child’s red wig and styled it to look like Ariel’s hair and then put a fake pink flower into the wig! Voila! I have a mini Ariel!
