This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Chaeli, the 'Baby Groot' costume creator:
My 19-month old little boy, Niko, is wearing a baby Groot costume. He loves to dance so we decided to dress him up as the little dancing Baby Groot from the end of Guardians of the Galaxy. I used some pajamas, a deconstructed wicker basket, some plant ribbon, a sewing ring, moss, hot glue, and some stiff white fabric. It cost about $35 total and took a few days to make. Niko had a wonderful time with his first year trick he r treating and even danced for a few people.
