Buddy the Baby T Rex from Dinosaur Train Costume

My children love the show the Dinosaur Train, so I decided to make their costumes as characters from the show. My youngest son (2 months old) was Buddy the baby T Rex. I used an orange infant cap for the base of baby T Rex head, a little upholstery foam to give shape for head and covered with felt to match character. Teeth were made with piece of white craft foam sheet. I also made a tiny tail from felt and stuffing as well as added felt decoration to an orange onesie to match character. Tail secured with Velcro for easy on and off. I hot glued everything. All in less than $5 in materials for the baby’s costume.
