This homemade costume for boys entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jason, the 'Bumblebee' costume creator:
My 3 year old son's Bumblebee costume. This was custom made, primarily from cardboard. I had seen some pictures and videos of finished Transformer costumes, which gave me inspiration but not much help in creating it. Based on my son's stature and other measurements of him, I was able to figure out the dimensions and workings to fit my child both standing and prone. He loves it, as you can see, and is happy to transform on command!
