This homemade costume for pets entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lauren, the 'Chia Chihuahuas' costume creator:
Chia Pet Chihuahuas
Leo & Sophie (both chihuahua mixes)
I made the orange pants legs first and then connected them with a piece of fabric to hold them up like pants. (I made two pairs, one for the front and one for the back)
The chia part is a boxwood grass mat that I cut to size and then used ribbon to tie on. The costume cost me about $25.
