This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Karen, the 'Inside Out' costume creator:
Mom is Bing Bong happily wearing a sheet from Consignment store, gloves from Dollar Tree (cut finger tips), borrowed daughter's field hockey pink tights, borrowed hat and shirt, handmade button, ears and orange tissue paper wrapped around the legs,
Dad is "Fear" wearing Mom's shirt backwards as his vest and borrowed bow tie.
Child 1 is "Disgust" wearing her own summer dress, younger sister's pants to make them cropped, shoes and scarf from consignment store. Hair sprayed green hair!
Child 2 is "Angry" wearing a white shirt and red fleece hat (cut up to look like flames) from a consignment store. Remaining flames made of fleece material and tissue paper. Construction paper tie made by older sister. 😊
Child #3 is "Sadness" wearing her own outfit paired with glasses received from a party. And some really blue hair from a can!
Child #4 is "Joy"! Wearing all her own clothes but accessorizing with some blue hair hair spray! Oh...and her very own big SMILE!
