Scarecrow Costume

We made this costume for my daughter Adriana she is 3 years old. We got the idea from a disney parade. We took pictures and went shopping for the fabric to begin the costume. Once all the main pieces of the costume were done from help of an Ant that sew everything for us we began to decorate the hat and skirt. We added hand cut pumpkins and patches and used a variety of leaves. We added straw to the sleeves of the shirt and burlap with rope to go over the neck area. We made a broom to accent her costume... Her wig was made of individual dreads that I glued to another hard hat that was under her scarecrow hat. The corset and boot coverings are suppose to resemble a tree like pattern. With just a little makeup we think she made the cutest scarecrow
