This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kymberlie, the 'Captain America' costume creator:
I am wearing my version of a Captain America costume- pin-up style. I wanted to make sure I had vintage military elements so I incorporated a 1940's helmet, military ammo belt, army socks with patches and military sock garters. I also made my own cinched waist corset with white stripes (my first time). The base of my costume was a vintage one piece swimsuit and I paired a pair of combat boots and a shield to finish the whole look.
