Mrs Captain America Costume

This was my costume this year. I wanted to be one of the Avengers, thinking it could expand into a good group costume and settled on a female conversion of Captain America. I started with a costume dress and mask and sewed on glow wire. I also glued glow wire to the shield and then routed all the wires to the shield, added a strap and a zippered purse on the inside to hold the battery packs. It was a big hit in a dark club and so easy for all my friends to find me! I'm very happy with how it turned out and the possibilities of glow wire costumes.
