Fallen Angel Costume

Karen (Me) is wearing a black angelic dress with wings and a halo that was purchased from e-bay. My original idea was to be a zombie bride but finding an affordable bride costume (or making one) was much more expensive than I was willing to comfortably pay. I got the idea to create a caged mouth piece from Glam&Gore (youtube). The lady on Glam&Gore had just enough gore and just enough glam so it was something that fit perfectly with my character (I'm a Gemini...bless my heart!!) LOL! I made the mouth piece with literally one cotton ball and some latex. Since the lady on Glam&Gore has beautiful Caucasian skin, I had to design the make-up to fit my beautiful African-American skin...therefore, my make-up was applied as though I was putting on foundation. I added some black paint over my mouth and in some of the holes and lastly plenty of zombie blood (cherry flavored)!! The looks and screams I received from people looking at my costume only fueled my blood for more...so I dressed up Friday (for work) and Saturday (for play)! I love Halloween because I get a chance to dress up in the weirdest of costumes (without judgement from those who just don't understand). ENJOY THE PICS!!
