This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Dana, the 'Ghostbusters Family' costume creator:
My husband is an absolute Ghostbusters freak! He has been Dr. Venkman for the past several Halloweens simply due to the fact that he has spent countless hours perfecting his proton pack (which lights up AND makes sounds). Thankfully, our adorably chubby baby fit the part perfectly for Mr. Stay Puft for his first Halloween, our dog was Slimer, and I was "Mrs." Venkman.
Dr. Venkman - Desert flight suit and iron on patches
Mrs. Venkman - Khaki dress and iron on patches
Mr. Stay Puft - 18 month snowsuit (our baby is only 5 months) that we cut the seams and stuffed with stuffing. We then took colored fabric to make the bib, and a chef's hat and iron on letters to make the sailor's hat.
Slimer - Our creativity ran out by the time we got to the dog, this is a store bought costume.
