This homemade costume for couples entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Natalie, the 'Gnomes' costume creator:
My boyfriend and I spent all day creating our gnome costumes, but with a little spin. We look like we're sitting on things! Supported buy 2 homemade hoop skirts, we creating an illusion by building up a mushroom and snail using fabric (hand and machine sewn), pex pipe, tape, HVAC materials, some outfits, stuffing and a lot of patience. We even included a snail trail with a piece of saran wrap. If a gnome can sit on a mushroom, why can't he sit on a snail?
