Head Examination Costume

My son Rhylan is wearing the costume. He wanted to be something bloody and gory, but we found a good compromise. I've seen these type of costumes before, but I wanted to creep it out a bit! First we put on make-up out of my make-up box, then an empty cheese puff container (cut the bottom off and then cut an arch to go over the neck/airway), put a backpack on him as tight as it would go and put an empty huge animal cracker container in it and then another one over the top for height, then we filled the neck, back, and arms, and hands with plastic grocery bags, attached the gloves with safety pins, and attached the hands to the container with hot glue. Lastly we stuffed a black shirt into the neck to finish it off. Total, this costume cost us less than $6.00. It was a blast talking to people while trick or treating, he got so much candy because they all said he had the best costume yet! He felt like a little celebrity!
