This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Nicole, the 'Mermaid' costume creator:
I made this costume for myself for a Halloween edm show I was attending. I used plain white foam sea shells for the top and painted them, I added sequins, pearls, shells and star fish to the top. The bottom is made out of performance fabric. I also added shells sequins and starfish onto the netting. The head piece is a combination of elastic, ribbon, trim and starfish.
