The Grinch Baby Costume

I was so excited about this costume ! For my son’s first Halloween he just wore a shirt that said my first Halloween so I knew for the second year I wanted something awesome! My favorite character of all time is the Grinch so I chose that to be his costume little did I know they would be coming out with a new Grinch this year making him even more popular than he already was which made me even more excited about my idea. I looked a few ideas up online found some listings on Etsy I could’ve purchased but I didn’t see one specific idea I liked the best so I thought why not create my own and add in the things I want. I liked the idea of him wearing a Santa shirt and obviously being green .... let me tell you finding lime green tights for a toddler that you can’t see through had to be by far one of the hardest tasks , I spent an entire day no exaggeration looking for green tights ! After I found those I was on the search for a Santa shirt which was fairly easy to find . Idea was to glue Green fathers Around the shirt and have him where lime green tights with red booties . because I waited until last minute the shirt I ordered was supposed to arrive the day before Halloween as I waited for my package I set up everything I needed to make the shirt so that when it arrived I can get to work . The shirt came I rip it open with excitement To find out that instead of sending me a 12 to 18 month shirt they sent me a 6 to find out that instead of sending me at 12 to 18 month shirt they sent me a 6T. I freaked out initially and then instantly went on Amazon and paid for next day shipping in hopes I would receive it in time ! Lucky for me about two hours before we were scheduled to start trick-or-treating and Amazon package arrives at my doorstep ! I quickly made the costume and when I was finished I was so proud of myself ... now painting his face that’s a whole other story 🤷🏽‍♀️😂
