The Nightmare Before Christmas Family Costumes

Family Costume for the Nightmare before Christmas consists of Jack Skellington with his dog Zero, Oogie Boogie with his favorite pair of docs, Sally, and The Mayor!
Knox is Oogie Boogie, his costume is a green hooded jumpsuit with seams painted on and I used pantyhose to close the opening so he can see and hot glued bugs down his leg that are escaping the seams. I purchased a pair of fuzzy dice for him to carry.
Keaton is Jack Skellington, his costume is a black and white pin striped suit and I cut out his bow tie from flack card stock paper then used a white felt marker to draw in the lines and attached it with a little hot glue. White and black face paint was used to make the face, along with some white spray color for his hair. Of course Jack couldn't go without his loyal Zero! I used styrofoam, padding and tulle to create the form of zero and then attached a wooden rod so he could easily hold him up, last touch was ribbon for the collar and leash.
Mom (Kendall) is Sally, her costume is fabric dress with a jumpsuit on to match skin tone and stitches painted on. A red wig, face paint, black buits with striped socks all complete the look for Sally.
Dad (Jon) is The Mayor, his costume is a lampshade I drew the faces on each side, painted and cutout, and I placed pantyhose on the cutout sections so he could see while we walk. We attached the inside of a safety helment so he could easily turn the shade around. The hat is a witches hat with black poster board glued to it, we attached it to the shade with wire to keep it from tipping to one side. The mayors badge is orange glitter ribbon and a white circle with mayor printed on it. The spider bow tie is a store bought spider that I hotglued a pin to so it could easily stay in place. A black suit, white shirt, and black shoes all complete the look the The Mayor.
