A word from Jessica and Christina, the 'Weeping Angels' costume creators:
Me and me sister Christina are wearing the costumes. We made them for the sci-fi convention at Roberson museum in Binghamton ny. The dresses are made from sheets with a hula hoop at the bottom to keep shape, we sewed the dresses and painted them to resemble stone. We are wearing morph suits underneath also painted to resemble stone and we added fake nails to the fingers. The wigs are made from yarn and painted to resemble stone. The masked were plain paper masks that we added paper mache to and sculpted to look like the angry angel face. The wings are made from cardboard and paper mache then painted to like stone feathers. We won judges favorite in the costume contest ant the sci-fi convention.
