Cat in the Hat Family Costume

Our inspiration comes from my daughter loving the Cat in the Hat show. She is 20 months. I was looking for a pregnancy costume idea as I am 31 week pregnant. The fish bowl was great. My husband made his cat costume with an 2nd hand bathrobe. He used permanent marker to make tge stripes. He wears it backward and has sewn legs. His bow is made of felt and an elastic band around his neck. The hat is a box of cereal covered with material. Can be done with paper too. My daughter is wearing a red pj inside out as it had other design on it. The Thing logo is made of felt and marker. Same with my costume. A red shirt and pants with felt Thing circle. The fish and aquarium is also made of felt and filled with kleenex for volume. It covers my pregnant belly. Our hair is just an elastic band with blue tulle.
